Daily life for most of us has changed very rapidly over the last few weeks! We wanted to let you know what precautions our grass cutting team are taking during the current COVID-19 situation.
- Operators are van based and are now working alone.
- Safety measures are in place (eg. the use of gloves or sterilisation where necessary).
- Our team don’t need to have any contact with customers (or members of the general public) during their rounds as most gardens are accessible through side/back gates.
- If a lawn can only be accessed through the house, we’ve asked customers to let us know if they or anyone in their household has shown symptoms in the last 14 days (in which case we’ll pause their cuts). Customers have also been asked to wipe door handles before and after the operator visits and to move to a different room while they are passing through the house.
While we have had a few cancellations from customers concerned about their financial situation, 98% of lawns are still being cut regularly. We’ve also had an influx of new customers join us in recent days.
We are continuing to monitor the government advice and will of course be in touch if the situation changes.
In the meantime we are doing our best to keep lawns looking their best and allowing people to continue enjoying their gardens.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
